Meat Clerk – Customer Service & Cutting

About the role

Join Sobeys as a Meat Clerk in Sherwood Park, AB, where you will interact directly with customers, answer questions about grilling and nutrition, and prepare high‑quality meat cuts. Key responsibilities

• Greet customers politely and provide superior service in line with company standards.
• Cut, trim, and prepare meat products for display using knives, saws, and commercial power equipment.
• Stock and rotate meat items on shelves and in showcases, ensuring freshness and proper rotation.
• Maintain clean, sanitized work areas and build merchandise displays according to company programs.
• Write orders, receive deliveries, and manage product inventory.

Required profile

• Previous retail meat‑cutting experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Highly motivated, team‑oriented, and capable of delivering excellent customer service.
