Maximo (MAS) Technical Specialist – Asset Performance Management

About the role

IBM is seeking a Technical Specialist to join its Intelligent Asset Management practice. You will work with the IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) to design, deploy, and support enterprise‑grade asset management solutions for clients across manufacturing, oil & gas, aerospace, and other industries.

Key responsibilities

• Provide subject‑matter expertise across MAS modules, including platform architecture, module dependencies, and best‑practice deployment.
• Lead the deployment of MAS on the OpenShift Container Platform using MAS CLI, ensuring secure, scalable, and highly available implementations.
• Install, upgrade, configure, and maintain MAS Core and suite applications (Manage, Health, Monitor, Predict).
• Collaborate with OpenShift architects and platform administrators to design and implement MAS infrastructure.
• Automate deployments and environment configuration using Ansible, Terraform, YAML, JSON, and XML.
• Support enterprise integration efforts, working closely with application and integration teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex installation, configuration, and performance issues.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions, preferably in discrete and process manufacturing verticals.
• Hands‑on experience deploying containerized applications on OpenShift.
• Strong background in automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Ability to work collaboratively with architects, administrators, and integration teams.
