Materials Handler

About the role

Moog is seeking a Materials Handler to support its production lines in Halifax. You will work on‑site delivering raw materials, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth material flow to meet production schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver raw materials, components, and packaging supplies to production lines according to schedule.
• Manage and replenish materials using Kanban signals/cards to support just‑in‑time production.
• Monitor Kanban levels and trigger replenishment to avoid stockouts or overstock.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Planning and Purchasing to address shortages, overstock, or obsolete items.
• Ensure proper material handling to prevent damage, contamination, or loss.
• Remove finished goods, scrap, and empty containers from production areas.
• Operate material handling equipment as required.

Required profile

• Experience or interest in material handling and inventory management.
• Ability to work safely in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Willingness to learn on the job and participate in mentorship and coaching.
