Material Handler D1 Operator

About the role

You will independently operate and maintain material handling equipment in a fast‑paced snack production environment. Using autonomous (AM) and progressive maintenance (PM) standards, you will help meet safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain high‑reach and counter‑balance lift trucks following AM and PM procedures.
• Execute standard work processes, ensure safety protocols, and perform quality assurance activities.
• Replenish inventory, put away, pick orders, load and unload goods.
• Use Windows‑based computer tools for goods receipt, inventory tracking, and reporting.
• Identify and report equipment losses and areas for performance improvement.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Required profile

• Secondary education with strong English reading/writing and math skills.
• Authorized operator of high‑reach and counter‑balance lift trucks.
• Ability to work physically demanding tasks and collaborate in a diverse team.
• Willingness to follow coaching, safety, and quality standards.

• Annual salary range $49,105 – $68,757 CAD.
