Marketing Specialist – French Canada

About the role

The Canadian Cancer Society is seeking a Marketing Specialist focused on French‑language audiences in Quebec and French‑Canada. You will ensure that all French‑language marketing communications are clear, accurate, and aligned with the organization’s brand standards while supporting the Senior Marketing Manager on campaign delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the brand steward for French‑language marketing, reviewing and approving emails, digital content, advertising, direct mail, and other collateral.
• Partner with translation teams, internal stakeholders, and external agencies to resolve feedback and maintain high‑quality output.
• Identify and address risks, inconsistencies, or gaps in messaging and communicate findings to senior leadership.
• Support the planning, execution, and trafficking of French‑language advertising campaigns across fundraising, mission, and brand priorities.
• Assist in adapting national campaigns for relevance to Quebec and French‑Canada audiences.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of French‑language review processes and workflows.

Required profile

• Strong command of written French with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience reviewing and approving marketing materials for brand consistency.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
