Manufacturing Engineering Specialist

About the role

Eaton’s Electrical sector is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to drive process improvements and implement new technologies at our Milton, ON facility. You will work onsite, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to enhance production efficiency and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee projects that develop or improve manufacturing processes, ensuring on‑time and on‑budget delivery.
• Analyze current workflows to identify bottlenecks, waste, and opportunities for cost reduction.
• Partner with vendors to evaluate and integrate new tools, machinery, or automation solutions.
• Stay engaged with industry conferences and professional networks to bring cutting‑edge practices to the plant.
• Provide training and development for team members to build technical capabilities.
• Ensure all processes comply with safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and production teams to deliver seamless manufacturing operations.

Required profile

• College diploma or university degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing, Automation & Controls, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, automation, or IT project development.
• Proven experience with Lean methodologies and project management tools.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada without sponsorship.
