Manager, Project Planner

About the role

The Manager, Project Planner will lead the development and maintenance of integrated project schedules that span clinical development, regulatory submissions and commercial launch activities. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you will ensure timelines, resources and dependencies are accurately mapped and continuously optimized to support the delivery of critical healthcare programs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and coordinate integrated project schedules across clinical, regulatory and commercial functions.
• Monitor timelines, resource allocation and dependencies, identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Support scenario planning and “what‑if” analysis to evaluate alternative execution strategies.
• Collaborate with clinical operations, regulatory, medical and commercial stakeholders to optimize schedules and ensure milestone delivery.
• Track progress against key milestones, highlight critical‑path activities and provide timely reporting and analysis.
• Contribute scheduling and resource data for portfolio‑level planning and governance.
• Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, reporting standards and cross‑functional coordination practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Project Management or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
• 3‑5+ years of experience in project planning, project management or portfolio coordination within pharma, biotech or clinical research.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling principles, resource forecasting and cross‑functional program coordination.
