Manager I, FP&A

About the role

Baxter is hiring a Manager I, FP&A, part of its Financial Planning & Analysis organization and an extension of the local country FP&A team. The role works with the Americas FP&A Center of Expertise leadership and with finance and business partners across the Americas region (United States, Canada and Latin America). It supports planning, annual budgeting, forecasting and monthly performance reviews, and drives business analytics and senior management presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with cross-functional leads to create budgets, forecasts and management reports, ensuring compliance with quality and control requirements
• Coordinate with local business partners and finance teams to review projections, budgets and historical results
• Load budget and forecast adjustments into the system for the country or business
• Ensure quality, accuracy and timeliness of monthly reports, balance sheet reviews, forecasts and the annual budget and strategic plan
• Deliver a monthly reporting package for management, including budget vs. actuals and variances with P&L and cost center owners
• Perform resource allocations to ensure effective ROI on investments
• Partner with regional, local and corporate FP&A resources in commercial and manufacturing/supply chain organizations to support decision making
• Handle partner concerns and advise Finance leadership on potential business or operational risks
• Perform ad hoc reporting and financial analysis, and update process flows, operating manuals, training guides and SOPs as needed
• Support Finance leadership with execution improvements, policy development and strategy

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field, completed by the time of application
• Typically 6+ years of confirmed experience in financial planning and reporting
• English C1 level required
• Ability to use Copilot to improve efficiency

• JD Edwards (JDE), Hyperion Planning and Cognos knowledge preferred
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
