Maintenance Technician – Hospitality Property

About the role

Join the team at a renowned Relais & Châteaux property on Vancouver Island as a Maintenance Technician. You will support both guest areas and back‑of‑house operations, ensuring the inn maintains its high service and sustainability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance in guest rooms, public spaces, and exterior areas.
• Handle landscaping, grounds work, and outdoor tasks in all weather conditions.
• Execute project work such as painting, carpentry, and furniture restoration.
• Maintain equipment, including the bicycle fleet and other mechanical assets.
• Assist with a schedule‑based preventative maintenance program.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to interact courteously with guests.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy items and working outdoors on short notice.
