Maintenance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Maintenance Manager to lead the upkeep of our hotel facilities in Yellowknife. You will ensure that all mechanical, electrical and building systems operate safely and efficiently, supporting a high‑quality guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and control operations of commercial facilities, including planning, scheduling and preventive maintenance programs.
• Oversee installation, maintenance and repair of infrastructure, machinery, equipment and electrical/mechanical systems.
• Prepare reports and statistics related to facility performance and safety inspections.
• Hire, train and supervise a team of 3‑4 maintenance staff.

Required profile

• Strong client focus with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organized, reliable and able to work under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility, initiative and a positive attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Excel and the full MS Office suite (Word, Outlook).
• Experience using business management and reservation software on MS Windows.
