Food Service Supervisor – Yellowknife

About the role

The Food Service Supervisor will lead the daily operations of the kitchen and dining areas at Ricky's All Day Grill in Yellowknife. This role ensures that food preparation, service, and safety standards are consistently met while supporting a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish methods and work schedules to meet service demands.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of 3‑10 staff members who prepare, portion, and deliver food.
• Train staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Estimate ingredient and supply needs and prepare budget and cost estimates.
• Maintain quality control, address customer complaints, and ensure compliance with health standards.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, wastage and prepare regular reports.
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas for cleanliness and safety.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in food service or restaurant supervision.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic security clearance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
• Client‑focused attitude with efficient interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility, initiative, dependability, and a team‑player mindset.
