About the role
We are looking for a reliable Lunchroom Counter Attendant to join our food service team. In this fast‑paced environment you will ensure that customers receive clean dishes, timely service and a pleasant dining experience.
Key responsibilities
- Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables.
- Carry and replace linen, clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, carts and waste disposal units.
- Operate dishwashers, hand‑wash and scour pots, pans, dishes, glassware and flatware.
- Stock refrigerators, salad bars and take‑out packaging; receive, unpack and store supplies.
- Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders and package take‑out food.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, trays, chairs, work surfaces, floors and kitchen areas.
- Handle kitchen garbage, sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
- Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of experience in a food‑service or hospitality setting.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.
- Comfortable handling loads up to 9 kg and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety standards.
- Client‑focused with reliable interpersonal skills, teamwork, multitasking ability and a positive attitude.
