About the role

Liberty Prep School is seeking a passionate Lower Elementary Teacher to join its vibrant downtown Toronto campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high‑quality curriculum to young learners, fostering a love of learning in a bright, naturally lit classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for lower elementary students.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a well‑organized, safe, and supportive classroom atmosphere.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance the school’s educational programs.

Required profile

• AMI or MACTE teaching qualification.
• Minimum of one year teaching experience with young children.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and classroom‑management skills.
• Keen observation skills and the ability to adapt instruction.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
