About the role
We are looking for a reliable long haul truck driver to transport goods across distances while ensuring safety, compliance, and timely delivery. The role involves operating both straight and articulated trucks and collaborating with central dispatch.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload goods.
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Inspect vehicle condition, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
- Perform pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
Required profile
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Valid Class 1 (or A) driver’s licence.
- Driving experience is an asset.
