About the role
We are seeking a reliable long haul truck driver to join Redleaf Transport Ltd in Winnipeg. The role involves transporting goods across long distances while ensuring safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and adjust routes using GPS and other navigation tools to minimise fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
- Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections of the vehicle, including tires, brakes, lights and cold‑storage equipment.
- Handle cargo securely, including tarping, and record cargo details, hours of service and fuel usage.
- Address customer complaints, maintain professionalism in service, and complete required documentation such as driver logbooks and incident reports.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation.
- Valid Class 1/1F/A licence with Air Brakes endorsement.
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg and sit for extended periods.
- Experience in long‑haul trucking is an asset.
Required skills
- Proficient use of GPS navigation systems.
- Operation of on‑board trip recorder/computer equipment.
