Logistics Project Manager – Material Localization (1‑year contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Project Manager to lead a material localization project spanning India, Australia and KD plants. This one‑year, fixed‑term position will drive the end‑to‑end logistics design, supplier validation and implementation of material flows for multiple manufacturing sites.

Key responsibilities

• Capture logistics requirements from plants and translate them into clear inputs for the RFQ process.
• Support supplier validation, PPAP activities and logistics readiness.
• Coordinate the implementation of material flows after supplier selection, defining routes, packaging and lead times.
• Work closely with Purchasing, R&D, Transport Operations, Plant Logistics, Packaging Development and Material Control teams.
• Manage project plans, dependencies, risks and follow‑up actions, ensuring a smooth transition from project to operational execution.
• Develop communication materials and key performance indicators to monitor progress.

Required profile

• Strong experience in logistics or supply‑chain project management, preferably in an industrial or automotive environment.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with purchasing, plants and suppliers.
• Good understanding of end‑to‑end logistics and material‑flow design.
• Knowledge of PPAP and supplier readiness processes.
• Excellent analytical, structured and pragmatic mindset.
• Fluent English communication skills and ability to work independently.
