Logistics Operator – Warehouse & Shipping

About the role

As a Logistics Operator you will ensure standards and procedures are followed while processing production kitting, incoming and outgoing shipments in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and complete pick orders for production according to schedule.
• Pick, pack, label and organize parts into kits following the bill of materials.
• Perform inventory controls, maintain quantity and location accuracy, and participate in daily cycle counts.
• Receive and verify supplier shipments, report damages or shortages, and complete receiving logs.
• Prepare, process and ship customer orders, including sorting, packaging, wrapping and labeling finished goods.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and optimize warehouse space utilization.
• Order supplies needed for shipping or warehouse operations.
• Support the Production department with assigned priorities as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months of warehouse experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with final packaging and shipping/receiving is preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory control best practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform physical tasks safely.
• Strong attention to detail, safety‑focused and able to adapt to changing priorities.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel
• Inventory management software (experience with Epicor is a plus)
• Use of counting scales and basic warehousing tools
