Logistics Manager

About the role

JA Coffee, a specialty green coffee importer serving roasters across Canada and the United States, is looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee its international supply chain. This full‑time, on‑site position is based at the company’s office and warehouse in the West Island of Montréal.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate international shipments from origin to Canada and the U.S.
• Manage ocean freight (FCL/LCL), inland transportation and carrier relationships.
• Oversee customs clearance in partnership with brokers and freight forwarders.
• Schedule inbound containers and supervise warehouse receiving.
• Maintain accurate inventory across multiple warehouse locations.
• Arrange domestic shipments, including LTL, FTL, parcel and courier services.
• Handle Amazon FBA shipments and ensure compliance with Amazon requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance and Warehouse teams to guarantee timely deliveries.
• Monitor logistics costs, resolve transportation issues and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• 5 + years of experience in international logistics, supply chain or import/export.
• Proven experience with customs clearance and shipping documentation.
• Strong knowledge of ocean freight (FCL/LCL) and domestic transportation (LTL/FTL).
• Warehouse and inventory management background.
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems is an asset.
• Bilingual in English and French; Spanish or Portuguese is a strong asset.
