Logistics Coordinator

About the role

Moroccanoil is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage daily shipping and receiving operations, ensure accurate freight cost tracking, and maintain shipment traceability. Reporting to the Director of Logistics, you will support both inbound and outbound logistics across multiple transport modes.

Key responsibilities

• Route purchase orders from vendors, subcontractors, retailers, and distributors to the appropriate warehouse or shipping portal.
• Monitor shipments from origin to destination and provide proactive status updates to internal teams.
• Schedule and request multimodal transport bookings (road, rail, air, ocean).
• Create and process courier shipments, generate Bills of Lading, pallet labels, and packing lists.
• Investigate transportation issues, file freight claims for damages, shortages, or lost shipments.
• Coordinate trade‑show logistics, delivery appointments, and shipment status with event organizers, carriers, and vendors.
• Update WMS with tracking information and freight costs, and support other logistics coordinators as needed.

Required profile

• College or university degree in Logistics.
• Minimum of 5 years of logistics or supply‑chain experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
