Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will manage day‑to‑day transportation operations for DSV’s customers in Saint‑Laurent. The role focuses on ensuring freight moves efficiently, accurately, and in line with customer requirements while delivering high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze booking information to verify service requirements, routes, border points and rates, and enter data into the system.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight, monitor daily priorities and weekly transportation targets.
• Respond to internal stakeholder inquiries, resolve conflicts, and keep all parties informed of shipment status.
• Maintain up‑to‑date account correspondence and upload electronic documents with milestones.
• Prepare and present quotes to internal and external clients, and keep quotes current in the system.
• Contact carriers to confirm equipment, expectations and load details; dispatch shipments and monitor freight movement.
• Update the transportation management system and customer portals with real‑time load locations.
• Identify exceptions proactively, develop corrective actions, and strive for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to work independently.
• Flexibility to work extended hours when demand requires.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle import, export and domestic transportation activities.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder interaction.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Transportation Management System (TMS).
