Logistics and Transportation Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics and Transportation Coordinator will plan, coordinate, and monitor the movement of equipment, materials, and supplies for mining development projects. Working closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, suppliers, and internal teams, you will ensure shipments are delivered safely, on time, and cost‑effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments by road, air, sea, and rail.
• Work with freight forwarders to organize import and export operations and track deliveries to mining sites and warehouses.
• Act as the primary contact for freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers; request and evaluate quotations, negotiate costs, and maintain vendor relationships.
• Prepare, review, and manage shipping documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
• Coordinate customs clearance activities and ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
• Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, project, and operations teams to prioritize shipments and provide regular logistics updates.

• Ability to work under the supervision of the Lead of Logistics and support remote mining operations.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
