Locum Family/General Practitioner – Flexible Hours

About the role

This locum position at a new outpatient clinic affiliated with Langley Memorial Hospital offers a Family or General Practitioner the chance to deliver high‑quality patient care in a supportive environment. Flexible hours and a range of short‑term assignments are available, with the potential for long‑term placement as the clinic expands.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of health conditions.
• Conduct routine examinations, preventive care, and health education.
• Utilize the Profile electronic medical record system for documentation and patient management.
• Collaborate with a team of six GPs, nursing staff, and multiple medical office assistants.
• Maintain clinic operations during office hours (8 am – 4:30 pm) with no weekend shifts.

Required profile

• Qualified and licensed Family Practitioner or General Practitioner.
• Experience in outpatient primary‑care settings.
• Willingness to work flexible, short‑term assignments (e.g., 2 weeks, 2 days, 3 weeks).
• Commitment to patient‑centered, high‑quality care.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Profile EMR system.
