Live‑in Home Child Care Provider – Calgary

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable home child care provider to join a family in Calgary. The position offers flexible, full‑time hours and optional live‑in accommodation at no charge (not a condition of employment).

Key responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for the household when parents are absent, including light housekeeping and cleaning.
• Discipline children according to the parents' preferred methods and teach personal hygiene and social skills.
• Maintain a safe, healthy environment and organize games, outings, and other activities.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to the children’s needs.
• Supervise children, transport them to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
• Support the emotional well‑being of the children throughout the day.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1–2 years of experience in child care or a similar role.
• Willingness to relocate; relocation costs covered.
• Criminal record check required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings and days as needed.
