Live-in caregiver – seniors

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate live‑in caregiver to provide daily support for seniors in a private home in Burnaby. The role includes personal care, companionship, and assistance with household tasks, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for clients with Alzheimer’s disease or physical disabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, hygiene, and feeding assistance.
• Assist clients with regular exercise such as walking and provide medication reminders.
• Prepare, serve, and monitor nutritious meals, and handle light housekeeping duties.
• Shop for food and household supplies, and provide companionship.
• Offer transportation to appointments and help with mobility as needed.

• Patient, honest, and able to exercise good judgement.
• Flexible, organized, and client‑focused with excellent oral communication.
• Initiative, reliability, and the ability to work independently.
