Live-in Caregiver – Full-time Permanent Position

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate live‑in caregiver to provide full‑time support to an elderly client with physical disabilities in North York. The role includes personal care, companionship, meal preparation, and light housekeeping, with optional on‑site accommodation.

Key responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and other personal hygiene tasks.
• Feed or assist in feeding the client and ensure nutritional needs are met.
• Prepare and serve balanced, nutritious meals.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support throughout the day.
• Offer personal care assistance tailored to elderly individuals and those with physical disabilities.
• Follow safety protocols, including a criminal record check, and maintain client confidentiality.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• Minimum 1 month and less than 7 months of caregiving experience.
• Ability to work on a live‑in basis in the employer’s home (optional accommodation provided).
• Willingness to support elderly clients and persons with physical disabilities.
• Clear criminal record and commitment to safety standards.
