About the role
We are seeking a compassionate live‑in caregiver to provide personal support and companionship to elderly clients and individuals with physical disabilities in the Woodbridge area. The role includes residing on‑site, offering flexible hours, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing.
- Help with feeding or assist in meal preparation and serving nutritious meals.
- Perform light housekeeping, cleaning duties, and laundry.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Prepare and cook meals according to dietary needs.
- Monitor client health and report changes to family or healthcare professionals.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using safe techniques.
Required profile
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills.
- Patience, honesty, and strong judgement.
- Organized, flexible, and able to take initiative.
- Ability to perform basic caregiving tasks with care.
- Commitment to respecting client privacy and dignity.
