About the role

Pizzeria Libretto, part of Oliver & Bonacini, is hiring a part-time Line Cook in Toronto. With four locations across the city, the pizzeria is led by Executive Chef Rocco Agostino, who combines Italian culinary heritage with Canadian local ingredients. Cooks are expected to show inspired quality, keep the kitchen clean and honour guest special requests.

Key responsibilities

Perform delegated tasks from the Sous Chef, Chef and/or General Manager
Prepare the event space food day to day according to O&B standards
Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation specifications set by the restaurant
Maintain a prep list of station duties
Use the FIFO method to maximize freshness
Assist with food inventory and control, and help receive and store deliveries properly
Clean food prep areas, equipment and utensils, following sanitation, food safety and hygiene guidelines
Follow WHMIS and MSDS guidelines
Carry out other duties as assigned by management
