About the role

Join Whistler Blackcomb’s Lift Experience Team for the 2026 summer season. As a Lift Operator you will act as the safety‑focused concierge for guests, ensuring smooth and enjoyable travel on our high‑capacity chairlifts.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor passenger safety during loading and unloading, providing clear instructions.
• Control lift speed and capacity in line with operational guidelines.
• Communicate proactively with guests and teammates to address any issues.
• Perform routine safety checks and report any equipment concerns.
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Strong focus on safety and guest service.
• Ability to work full‑time hours in an outdoor mountain environment.
• Willingness to learn lift operation procedures and safety protocols.
