Operations Supervisor

About the role

Whistler Reception Services is looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Operations Supervisor to oversee front‑desk and concierge services across multiple accommodation properties in Whistler. You will play a key role in maintaining high‑quality guest and owner experiences while supporting administrative and accounting functions.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily front‑desk and concierge operations across several properties.
• Coordinate staff schedules, shift coverage, and provide coaching and performance feedback.
• Train employees on guest‑service standards, reservation systems, and operational procedures.
• Respond to guest enquiries, resolve escalated issues, and manage bookings with external service providers.
• Maintain operational reference materials, monitor communication channels, and ensure timely responses.
• Support reservation, key‑management, and front‑desk system functionality.
• Prepare operational summaries, shift reports, and compile data for internal tracking.
• Document service issues and outcomes to ensure continuity.
• Assist with owner statements, bank reconciliations, invoicing, accounts payable, and financial reporting.
• Reconcile front‑desk transactions, guest payments, and commission records.

Required profile

• Strong hospitality operations experience in a high‑volume, tourism‑focused environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and capacity to coordinate multiple systems and properties.
• Detail‑oriented, motivated, and able to lead front‑line teams effectively.

Required skills

• Familiarity with reservation and front‑desk software.
• Basic accounting and reconciliation skills.
