Lead Technical Program Manager, Platform Integration

About the role

The Lead Technical Program Manager – Platform Integration owns program‑level execution across Waabi’s platform programs, focusing on cross‑functional integration of hardware, onboard software, embedded systems, autonomy, safety, and operations. You act as the connective tissue between teams that follow very different development cadences, ensuring alignment, risk visibility, and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain integrated platform program plans covering milestones, cross‑team dependencies, and delivery timelines.
• Build and enforce dependency maps across hardware, software, systems, safety, and operations, identifying the critical path and assigning owners.
• Own executive reporting, surfacing risks early with data‑backed mitigation options.
• Track system verification & validation and overall test campaigns to ensure coverage, sign‑off readiness, and milestone alignment.
• Champion tools that capture a single source of truth for program work and build scalable tracking mechanisms for fleet‑scale operations.

Required profile

• 6+ years of technical program management experience, especially in cross‑functional hardware, software and systems integration.
• Proven ability to create program structures from scratch: dependency maps, risk registries, executive reporting, and milestone tracking.
• Experience working with teams that have differing development cadences (e.g., robotics, autonomous vehicles, IoT, defense).
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to produce concise executive briefs and facilitate technical reviews.
• Background in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or advanced driver‑assistance systems (ADAS) is required.
