Lead Operator

About the role

SECURE is seeking a Lead Operator to oversee the safe and efficient day‑to‑day operations of its waste treatment, oil treatment and water injection facilities. The role involves supervising a team of Operators, fostering a strong safety culture, and ensuring compliance with environmental and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily plant operations, including waste solids processing and water disposal.
• Supervise, coach and train Operators, assigning shift roles and monitoring performance.
• Ensure all activities follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Work Procedures (SWPs), hazard assessments and iTrak documentation.
• Maintain plant safety, housekeeping and compliance with internal governance programs.
• Coordinate with customers, providing clear communication and high‑level service.
• Oversee compliance with landfill criteria and solids testing requirements.

• Proven experience supervising industrial plant operations.
