About the role

We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Helper to join our team at Marché Daoust. In this role you will support daily food preparation and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment to ensure smooth service for our customers.

Key responsibilities

Place dishes in storage and replenish condiments at tables and serving areas.
Package take‑out food, portion and wrap items, and prepare simple heated dishes.
Stock refrigerators, salad bars, and other storage areas; receive, unpack and store supplies.
Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs.
Clean and sanitize work surfaces, cupboards, appliances, and equipment.
Remove kitchen garbage, sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit, and keep records of food quantities used.

Required profile

Team player with a strong sense of initiative.
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
Dependable and flexible to work early mornings, evenings, weekends.
