About the role

We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Helper to support our busy restaurant team in Sudbury. The role involves assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations during evening, night, on‑call and weekend shifts. The successful candidate will be bondable, have their own transportation, and be able to start on the advertised start date.

Key responsibilities

  • Load buspans and trays for service.
  • Operate dishwashers to clean dishes, glassware and flatware.
  • Scour pots and pans and wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
  • Clean and sanitize work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment.
  • Handle up to 9 kg (20 lb) items safely.
  • Assist with on‑call and weekend duties as scheduled.
  • Ensure all kitchen areas meet health and safety standards.

Required profile

  • Secondary school graduation certificate.
  • 1–2 years of kitchen or food‑service experience.
  • Bondable and available for shift, on‑call, evening, night and weekend work.
  • Own transportation to commute to the workplace.
  • Available to start on the date listed in the posting.
