Kitchen Helper – Full-time in Rouyn‑Noranda

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Helper to join our fast‑food restaurant in Rouyn‑Noranda. The role involves supporting the kitchen team with food preparation, cleaning, and customer service tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clear and clean tables, trays, chairs and sanitize the dining area.
• Operate dishwashers and deep fryers, and wash dishes, glassware and flatware by hand.
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items, package take‑out orders and stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and storage areas; handle cleaning products safely.
• Sweep, mop and polish floors, and remove kitchen garbage and trash.

Required profile

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks under pressure.
• Capacity to lift up to 30 lb (13.5 kg) and handle items up to 20 lb (9 kg).
• Client‑focused, team player with a positive attitude and initiative.
• Available for shift or on‑call work, including mornings, evenings, nights and weekends.

Required skills

• Experience operating a deep fryer.
• Experience operating commercial dishwashers.
