Junior Lawyer

About the role

Immiland Law Professional Corporation is seeking a motivated Junior Lawyer to support its immigration, family, estate, and business law practice. You will work closely with senior attorneys, providing research, drafting, and client assistance across a variety of legal matters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing immigration, estate, business, and family law cases.
• Conduct legal research and present findings to senior lawyers.
• Draft and review legal documents with precision.
• Provide empathetic client support while maintaining confidentiality.
• Attend court proceedings and mediations under supervision.
• Stay current on legislative changes in relevant practice areas.
• Manage and update client files accurately.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar of any Canadian province.
• 1‑2 years of experience in immigration, estate, business, or family law.
• Advanced English proficiency; Spanish or French a plus.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Professional communication with colleagues and clients.
• Good computer literacy and willingness to learn new software.
• Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality.
