Junior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join a client project in Vancouver. The role focuses on CI microservices, cloud platforms, and automation workflows, offering an excellent opportunity for early‑career developers to deepen their system operations and development expertise in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support CI microservice systems.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and respond to user support requests.
• Apply security updates to servers and databases.
• Improve existing system features and develop new capabilities.
• Contribute to AI‑related components such as MCP servers and AI agents.
• Investigate and resolve bugs to maintain platform stability.
• Work closely with engineering teams to support CI/CD processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in software engineering or system operations.
• Basic understanding of Linux environments.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
• Working knowledge of Docker.
• Understanding of databases and CI/CD concepts.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
