Journalier saisonnier – Entretien des infrastructures municipales

About the role

The City of Prévost is seeking a seasonal laborer to support the Infrastructure Services team. Working under the director of infrastructure, you will help maintain and improve the municipality’s roads, parks, green spaces, and public facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance across the city’s territory.
• Carry out horticultural work on municipal infrastructure and maintain equipment for parks, playgrounds, skating rinks, buildings, and signage.
• Repair potholes, conduct minor paving work, clean ditches, and perform other public‑road upkeep tasks.
• Provide voluntary support outside regular hours when needed.
• Ensure health and safety rules are followed at all times.
• Set up and dismantle municipal rooms for events.
• Inspect the municipal vehicle before use and complete required municipal inspections.
• Close public roads and act as a traffic controller when required.

Required profile

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (Class 3 or 1 is an asset).
• Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labour.
• Availability to work a 39‑hour week and occasional voluntary overtime.
• Team‑oriented attitude.
