About the role
We are looking for a motivated Janitorial Services Manager to lead our cleaning operations in Edmonton. The role involves overseeing staff, managing budgets, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness for our clients. You will act as the primary point of contact for operational issues and customer concerns.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures for cleaning staff.
- Plan, monitor and control the department’s budget and inventory of supplies.
- Manage contracts related to advertising, marketing and external service providers.
- Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate cleaning personnel.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
- Organise, direct, and assess daily cleaning operations to maintain quality standards.
Required profile
- Minimum secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
- 1 to less than 2 years of experience in janitorial or facilities management.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with strong attention to detail.
- Proven capability to plan, organise and evaluate operational activities.
