IT Systems Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a mid‑level IT Systems Administrator to join our infrastructure team on a permanent, full‑time basis. The role is hybrid, requiring three days on‑site each week, and focuses on maintaining Windows, Active Directory, and Azure environments across North America.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Perform daily Azure/Entra tasks such as VM management, VNet/NSG configuration, storage, monitoring, and backups.
• Support and troubleshoot Azure hybrid identity using Entra Connect.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 escalation for systems incidents and service requests.
• Monitor system health, apply patches, and manage backup/restore operations.
• Conduct log analysis with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and OS‑level logs.
• Collaborate with network, security, application, and SQL teams.
• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of hands‑on Systems Administrator experience, including 2–3 years with Azure.
• Strong background in Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, subnets, routing, firewalls, DNS).
• Experience supporting enterprise‑size environments and Microsoft 365.
• Ability to work independently on Level 2/3 support while collaborating with senior staff.
