IT Support Specialist – Calgary

About the role

We are looking for a motivated IT Support Specialist to join our growing Calgary office. You will provide second‑level technical assistance to employees, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software and IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide second‑level technical support to employees via phone, email or in‑person, ensuring timely resolution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices.
• Assist with setup, configuration and deployment of new equipment and applications.
• Maintain accurate records of support tickets in the ticketing system.
• Support users with Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
• Help manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including network and server systems.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement policies and procedures.
• Deliver training sessions on IT systems and best practices.
• Participate in IT projects and initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Certificate, diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in an IT support role.
• Intermediate understanding of computer hardware, software and networking.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
