About the role

We are looking for an IT Specialist to provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 co‑managed support for BluEarth staff in a Microsoft 365 environment. The role combines hands‑on troubleshooting, user onboarding, and collaboration with our Managed Service Provider to keep systems secure and running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support for staff using Microsoft 365 services.
  • Respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve internal service requests promptly.
  • Act as escalation point for issues beyond the MSP helpdesk.
  • Support onboarding and off‑boarding, including account, device, and permission management.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) and manage SharePoint sites.
  • Assist with endpoint management, device configuration, patching, and routine maintenance.
  • Maintain security, data integrity, backups, redundancy and disaster‑recovery processes.
  • Document IT procedures, common issues, and system configurations.
  • Coordinate with the MSP for ticket handoffs and resolution.
  • Provide on‑site support when required and manage hardware procurement and lifecycle.

Required profile

  • Training in network communications and security.
  • Training in Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer‑related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with Microsoft 365 admin, Intune/MDM, SharePoint, Power Automate, and related tools.

Required skills

  • Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
  • Intune and Mobile Device Management.
  • SharePoint site creation, permissions, and storage management.
  • Power Automate and Copilot workflow automation.
  • Fortinet networking equipment knowledge.
  • Freshservice or similar IT helpdesk platform.
  • Incident response and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Data backup, redundancy and disaster‑recovery procedures.
  • Endpoint management, device configuration, and patching.
  • Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
