IT Helpdesk Technician – Evening Shift

About the role
The IT Helpdesk Technician works the evening shift (1 PM‑10 PM) to provide technical assistance to studio users, ensuring software, hardware, and network issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance on user requests via chat, email, and ticketing system.
- Document progress and solutions in tickets and the internal wiki.
- Resolve network problems, hardware and software errors, and outages.
- Install, configure, and image workstations; set up accounts, permissions, and move equipment.
- Maintain, upgrade, and manage the render farm, handling after‑hours requests.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with cloud‑hosted email and other studio applications.
Required profile
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
- Quick learner with a customer‑service mindset.
- Experience with workstation hardware support.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Familiarity with computer imaging and cloud‑hosted email systems.
