IT GRC Specialist – Remote (up to $120/hr)

About the role

Mercor is seeking an experienced IT GRC Specialist to evaluate AI‑generated artifacts and ensure they meet rigorous cybersecurity and governance standards. This fully remote contract position offers flexible, asynchronous work with competitive hourly rates.

Key responsibilities

• Assess AI‑generated work products against domain‑specific quality rubrics.
• Identify factual, aesthetic, and presentation errors in documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.
• Provide clear, structured written feedback to improve model outputs.
• Apply deep subject‑matter expertise in Cybersecurity and IT GRC to grade and certify deliverables.
• Work independently to meet deadlines without onsite supervision.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in Cybersecurity or IT GRC.
• Native or professional fluency in English.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) from a reputable institution (preferred).
