IT Agile Project Manager – Remote (Canada)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Agile Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end software delivery for a SaaS‑based Human Resource Management System serving the public sector. The role is fully remote and focuses on driving transparency, performance tracking, and data‑driven decision‑making across Agile teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Agile software development projects using Scrum, SAFe or hybrid methods.
• Manage cross‑functional teams across product, engineering, QA and UX.
• Facilitate all Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives and sprint reviews.
• Own and optimise Jira dashboards, workflows, filters and automation.
• Develop advanced Jira reports for sprint tracking, release planning, capacity and throughput.
• Build executive‑level reports with Power BI, Tableau, Jira Advanced Roadmaps or EazyBI.
• Integrate reporting across Jira, Confluence and third‑party BI platforms.
• Establish reporting standards and best practices for Agile metrics.
• Monitor and communicate project performance, risks and resource utilisation.
• Champion continuous improvement in delivery and reporting accuracy.

Required profile

• 10+ years of IT project management experience with a strong Agile focus.
• Proven ability to lead remote SaaS delivery teams.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience presenting complex data to executive audiences.
