Investment Analyst

About the role

The Investment Analyst will join a collaborative team working on industrial and commercial real‑estate development projects. Reporting to senior leadership—including the COO, VP Sales & Marketing, and VP Acquisitions & Asset Management—the analyst supports investment decisions through financial analysis, market research, acquisition support, and strategic reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor economic, investment and capital‑market fundamentals to identify long‑term trends that shape investment strategy.
• Prepare regular market research summaries, snapshots and investment‑thesis updates for acquisitions, sales and leadership teams.
• Analyze market indicators such as vacancy, absorption and new supply across sub‑markets.
• Develop and maintain proprietary databases of land sales, building sales, lease transactions and development pipelines.
• Conduct research on a broad range of topics to support strategic initiatives.
• Build, maintain and improve detailed financial models (proforma, DCF, IRR, equity multiple, sensitivity analyses) to assess acquisition opportunities.
