Internal Auditor – Data Analytics & AI

About the role

Join National Bank’s Internal Audit team and work on strategic audit engagements across Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Personal and Commercial Banking, Human Experience and Performance, and Finance. You will apply data analytics and artificial intelligence tools to enhance audit effectiveness and gain deep insight into the bank’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in audit planning, identifying risks and defining audit objectives.
• Perform audit work as part of a team of experienced auditors.
• Utilise and promote data‑analytics and AI tools (e.g., Co‑pilot, ChatGPT) to achieve audit goals.
• Communicate audit results clearly to the engagement team and stakeholders.
• Support the follow‑up of action plans from internal audit and regulatory recommendations.
• Conduct financial and non‑financial audit work, supporting external auditors in the preparation of the bank’s financial statements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Three to four years of relevant audit experience.
• CPA designation or candidate status.
• Knowledge of data‑visualisation and analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI.
• Familiarity with AI technologies like Co‑pilot and ChatGPT.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and innovative mindset.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
• Team‑oriented attitude.
