Intermediate Mechanical Engineer – Industrial Projects

About the role

Allnorth is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join its Calgary team and support industrial projects across energy, renewables, fiber, chemicals, and infrastructure sectors. You will work on engineering studies and detailed design while delivering technical solutions within project schedules and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Support mechanical engineering deliverables from concept through detailed design for industrial projects.
• Assist with equipment sizing, piping system design, and other mechanical design activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, procurement datasheets, and complete engineering packages.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
• Participate in client meetings, field reviews, and technical problem‑solving as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Alberta or an Engineer-in-Training actively progressing toward registration.
• 4–8 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience, preferably in consulting, EPCM, or industrial environments.
• Experience supporting industrial project development and execution.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
• High technical competency and strong attention to detail.
