In‑House Counsel – Policy & Regulatory

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated, business‑oriented lawyer to join our close‑knit team in downtown Toronto as Manager, Policy & Regulatory. The position is an in‑house counsel role that blends legal expertise with policy development, regulatory compliance and corporate secretarial responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and advise on corporate policies and regulatory strategies.
• Manage regulatory filings and ensure compliance with applicable securities and finance laws.
• Provide corporate secretarial support, including board governance and documentation.
• Collaborate with business units to interpret legal implications of commercial initiatives.
• Monitor privacy regulations and corporate governance best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in business, finance, or securities matters, either in a corporate or litigation setting.
• Background in corporate law, securities, banking, litigation or tax law.
• Strong analytical abilities and a proactive, business‑mindset.
