Infrastructure and Cloud Specialist – 11‑month Contract

About the role

HEABC is offering an 11‑month contract for an Infrastructure and Cloud Specialist. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Technology and Support, the role provides operational support across on‑premises and Microsoft Azure environments, covering VMware, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, backup, monitoring, networking and security infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows and Linux servers in on‑premises, VMware and Azure environments.
• Maintain Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and file services.
• Provision, configure, patch, upgrade and decommission servers.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, capacity and lifecycle risks.
• Manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, access controls and core platform services.
• Support Azure Landing Zone governance, policies, tagging and resource organization.
• Participate in cloud adoption, infrastructure migration and modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with the IT Security team to remediate vulnerabilities and configuration risks.

Required profile

• BSc‑level education in Computer Science or Information Systems (or equivalent) and at least five years of enterprise infrastructure support experience.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure, hybrid‑cloud, Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft 365/Intune.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, analytical abilities and written/ verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work across infrastructure, networking and cloud technologies with internal teams and external vendors.
