About the role

Lacroix Médecine Privée is seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse to join its surgical block in Laval. The role involves providing high‑quality peri‑operative care in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment, supporting a wide range of surgical specialties.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating theatre according to aseptic standards.
• Assist surgeons during orthopedic procedures (PTH, PTG) and various other surgeries including gynecological, ENT, urological, general, bariatric and neurosurgical operations.
• Coordinate with anesthesiology, nursing, and technical staff to ensure patient safety and optimal workflow.
• Monitor patients intra‑operatively, manage instruments, and document all relevant clinical information.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and adhere to AIISOC, CSA and PCI standards.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in an operating‑room setting, with specific expertise in orthopedic surgery (PTH/PTG).
• Completed nursing education (DEC or Bachelor of Nursing) and a valid OIIQ licence.
• Current RCR and ACLS certifications.
• Fluent French and functional English communication skills.
• Strong teamwork orientation and meticulous attention to detail.
